I've lived in the Port Orford area most of my life, with the exception of the university years and a little traveling. I returned to raise my children in what I considered a healthy environment - one where they could feel free to explore the natural wonders of the world as I had. We are contented living in this small, sea village with the outdoors at our fingertips.

In trying to juggle work and family here, I discovered the real estate industry and decided to explore it as a career. My natural admiration for this area, incorporated with a desire to learn the industry has kept me involved in real estate for over 20 years. It is a changing industry and I've had the privilege to witness quite a few of these changes.

Mobile technology has had the largest impact on our industry, an area that has pushed Port Orford into full visibility. With DSL and the internet, our client base is now world-wide. This fact alone motivated me to begin the CIPS (Certified International Property Specialists) program - a program that broadens ones knowledge of world-wide real estate practices and regulations.

I became the Principle Broker of 'Neath The Wind Realty, inc in 2004, garnering a small contingency of excellent agents. Our commitment to professional real estate activity - with a side of country, has provided a rewarding experience for our clients, and ourselves as well. Our office provides a warm, local environ filled with local art, news, maps and information.
We keep the downstairs fire going during the winter months while enjoying the quiet discussion of daily events.

In closing I have to admit that I have always wondered - who wouldn't want to live here?
